Chalet Le Cotaret

This modern, design chalet provides a unique experience in the French Alps. Thanks to its large glass windows, the living and dining areas are bathed in light and offer an amazing view of the Les Arcs ski resort and the surrounding mountains. It’s the perfect place to relax and find peace after an active day in the mountains. 

D. Layout & Space (Interior Description)

The chalet features a spacious living and dining area, an amazing view on the surrounding mountains, 2 fully equipped kitchens, a large balcony and covered terrace. All 5 bedrooms have their own bathroom.

We’ve specifically designed the chalet with skiers & cyclists in mind. This is reflected in 2 spacious ski & bike rooms, 2 changing rooms with individual storage space, washing machine and tumble dryer. We also provide a wash stand, bike tools and track pumps.

• Room 1 (ground floor): 2 single beds, en-suite shower & toilet

• Room 2 (ground floor): 2 single beds, en-suite shower & toilet

• Room 3 (ground floor) : 2 single beds, en-suite shower & toilet

• Room 4 (ground floor): bunk bed + 2 single beds, en-suite shower & toilet

• Room 5 (second floor) : 2 bunk beds, en-suite shower & toilet

F. Catering & Services (if applicable)

• In our catered arrangement, we provide a freshly cooked breakfast and a 2-course dinner on 6 out of the 7 days.

• We stock the fridge with a selection of beverages to serve as honesty bar.

• We can also provide afternoon tea, shuttle service to the Funicular, childcare, restaurant info, ski pass service, ski rental assistance.

G. Location & Surroundings

• Conveniently located just outside the city centre, the chalet provides easy access to Bourg Saint Maurice and its shops, supermarkets, bars, restaurants, cosy town centre with shopping street, local market, etc.

• For ski holidays, the chalet is perfectly situated and equipped. The Paradiski area (Les Arcs / La Plagne) is easily reachable via the Funiculaire, a cable train that departs from the centre of Bourg Saint Maurice and that transports skiers to the slopes of Arc 1600 in a mere 10 minutes. The Funiculaire parking is just 5 minutes by car from Chalet Le Cotaret.

• Famous ski resorts like Tignes / Val d’Isère, Sainte Foy, La Rosière and even the 3 Valleys resort are all within an hour’s drive.

• In summer, Bourg Saint Maurice lies at the foot of famous Tour de France climbs like Col de l’Iséran,  Cormet de Roselend and Col du Petit Saint-Bernard. Other stunning climbs like Col de la Loze, Col de la Madeleine and La Plagne are easily reachable, either by bike or by car.

• We can design custom made itineraries adapted for your group. On request we can also provide a bike guide and/or support vehicle for feed stops, spare clothing and mechanical support through our partner CycloSherpa.

H. Accessibility & Transport

• Chalet Le Cotaret features 4 private parking spaces.

• The nearest airports are Lyon and Geneva, both at roughly 2 hours drive.

• The Bourg Saint Maurice train station is at 1.5km and a 5 minute drive from the chalet.

• The nearest public transport stop is at 900m.

• A car is recommended for this accommodation. However, we can provide a shuttle service upon request.
