Chalet Algonquin is a beautifully converted 18th-century alpine farmhouse that perfectly blends authentic
mountain character with modern comfort. Its historic features and traditional materials, including natural
wood and stone, create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that reflects its farmhouse origins. The chalet’s
timeless Alpine style, combined with thoughtful contemporary touches such as large panoramic windows
and cosy living spaces, gives it a unique charm and authenticity. What makes Chalet Algonquin truly
special is this rare combination of heritage character, stunning valley views, and modern amenities,
including a private chef & host, a private shuttle service, and an outdoor jacuzzi, offering guests a
seamless, luxury mountain experience.
D. Layout & Space (Interior Description)
The chalet is designed for both social living and private comfort. The heart of the home is a large open-
plan living and dining area with a log fire and a fully equipped open kitchen, ideal for group meals and
cozy evenings. Large windows fill the space with natural light and frame the surrounding valley and
mountain scenery. Outdoor spaces include a balcony and seating areas where guests can relax with a glass
of wine while enjoying the Alpine surroundings. Wellness facilities include an outdoor jacuzzi, perfect for
relaxing after a day on the slopes. Special design elements, such as the traditional farmhouse structure,
natural materials, open communal layout, and panoramic views, create a warm, inviting, and unique
alpine retreat.

Catered Service Includes:
Welcome drink and small gift on arrival
6 mornings of breakfast with a hot dish
6 afternoons of homemade cake with coffee and tea
6 evenings of a 3-course dinner with unlimited wine, beer, and soft drinks
Private shuttle to first lift/slopes (morning and afternoon) when booked catered
Staff day off: Thursday. On this day, breakfast ingredients are provided for guests to prepare
themselves.
Assistance with booking transfers, ski lessons (with pick-up at the chalet), equipment rental
(fitted at the chalet), and nanny services
Pre-ordering and arranging ski passes ready for arrival

G. Location & Surroundings
Chalet Algonquin is located in the small village of Moulin, just a 5-minute walk (or 2-minute drive) from
Peisey, where you will find a bakery, small supermarket, and other village amenities. The chalet benefits
from excellent ski access, with the new gondola in Peisey taking you to the slopes in just 3 minutes.
Guests who book the chalet catered enjoy a private shuttle service in the morning to the lifts and in the
afternoon for pick-up. Regardless of catering, a resort shuttle runs all day, stopping almost directly outside
the chalet, providing convenient transport throughout the valley.
In winter, the stunningly beautiful Rosuel National Park, just a 5-minute drive or accessible via the free
resort shuttle, offers snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and sledding.
In summer, guests can enjoy hiking, nature walks, mountain biking, and other family-friendly outdoor
activities such as canyoning and rafting, all within easy reach of the chalet.

Landry Station (approx. 15 minutes by taxi/ shuttle bus to the chalet)
Bourg-Saint-Maurice Station (approx. 20 minutes by taxi/shuttle bus to the chalet)
(Both stations are stops for the winter ski trains, making access for skiers convenient.)
A car is not required thanks to the chalet’s private shuttle service (available when catered) and the
all-day resort shuttle stopping almost directly outside the chalet.
